SEI 306 Johnson/Evinrude V6 Replacement Lower Unit

Note for purchasing: You must verify your Gear Ratio. Call for application assistance if needed, and have your engine serial number ready when calling.

The SEI 306 replacement lower unit is designed for use with V6 Johnson/Evinrude models. The 300 series gearcases utilize a two-piece driveshaft construction. The upper shaft is not included. For models 1993 and newer the OMC upper driveshafts are compatible. Compatible drive shafts are available. The gearcases are not supplied with a water pump of shift shaft. OMC shift shaft and water pumps are compatible with all SEI 300 series gearcases. SEI 306 units utilize a pitot fitting that is built in. The 306 series gear cases use a 1-1/4" diameter propshaft. All V6 OMC gearcases manufactured since 1990 have compatible propshafts. Units before 1990 used a 1-1/8" propshaft and the prop trust washer must be replaced with one for a 1990 and new er model.
