How to Order a Uflex C8 Series Control Cable - Measure Twice, Order Once

For a New Installation: Measure the distance from control to the clutch or throttle connection following an uninstructed path. Taking the length and rounding up gives you the required cable length. It is recommended that cables have a 8"(200 mm) minimum radius. To allow for engine movement outboard applications it is necessary to add 3 ft.

For Replacement of Existing Cable: If you removed the old cable, lie cable out flat and measure from tip to tip, rounding up. Cables are ordered by length or feet.
