Sierra 18-5258 Tune Up Kit Installation Instructions:
- Remove the old condenser. Use the lead as a guide to select the proper hole in the copper strap.
- Cut off the excess strap material about 1/16" beyond this hole.
- Cut the insulating sleeve 1/2" shorter than the strap and install on the strap.
- Note: If the old condenser has a slotted terminal cut away one side of the hole in the strap with a pair of side cutters.
- Snap the bracket on the condenser making sure that the mounting flange is in the same position as on the old condenser.
- Install the assembly in the distributor.
