This Velair Gen II is a self-contained marine air conditioner that utilizes existing technology for creating optimal climates. The twin rotary compressor features a brushless DC motor that is designed for marine environments. An inverter provides constant speed control while delivering cooling power. Easy to control with either the wall mounted control unit or via wifi through a smartphone app. Created for boats this marine air conditioner creates no current peaks during start-up and offers an overall reduction of electricity consumption. The high energy efficiency is perfect for running with small generators or battery power. The compressor constantly changes its running speed depending on ambient and your desired temperature settings. Operating at max power, this unit will rapidly cool the cabin before reaching the set temperature and lowering its power consumption.
